About the ICA
The ICA was formed in July 2005 in order to regulate the interaction between Government and Consultants who provide services in the investment incentive field. These incentives are administered by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
The ICA has set itself the following key objectives:
- To promote the professional relationship between Government departments and members of the ICA. This will be achieved by creating a mechanism to receive operational / technical updates and provide input on policy-related issues.
- Support the principles of Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) both through the development of BBBEE member firms and the provision of world class consulting services to BBBEE enterprises
- To improve the service levels of members, through training initiatives and information sharing.
The ICA is structured in the form of a S21 company, Association not for gain and is regulated by a Board of Directors who are elected from within the member firms.
